Fortnite Week 5 challenges
Fortnite Week 5 Challenges

Fortnite Week 5 Challenges: Free Challenges

Search 7 Chests in Junk Junction: I would suggest that you wait to do this challenge until a little bit later in the week because usually, Junk is not crowded so if you wait until next weeks challenges come out, you will be able to get 7 chests in Junk a lot easier.

Use 3 Rift Portals: This challenge, I would suggest going to Paradise Palms to do because that is where lots of Rifts spawn, you can even skydive into one before even dropping down at the start of the game!

Eliminate 3 Opponents in 1 Game:   For this challenge, I would choose the place you feel most comfortable dropping that usually has a couple of people that go there. Then, just try and get kills early in the game before anyone else is looted up.

Fortnite Week 5 Challenges: Battle Pass Challenges

Deal 300 Damage to Opponents with Clingers, Stink Bombs, or Grenades: For this challenge, just carry one of these explosive items with you all the time, and if you see people healing in the open or in bases, just throw all of your explosives and you should be able to do plenty of damage.

Hit 5 Golf Balls from Tee to Green: All 9 golf holes are in Lazy Links. If you go into a 50v50 game and your team has a lot of fo people that go to Lazy, you should be able to do this challenge. Just make sure you go to different holes for each one and that you have to golf ball toy in your main locker items before you go into the game.

Follow the Treasure Map Found in Snobby Shores: This challenge is pretty easy all you have to do is land on top of a certain house in Haunted Hills. This is what the house looks like:

Fortnite Week 5 challengesOnce you land on top of the house, there will be a little star and if you search it, you will complete the challenge.

Eliminate 3 Opponents in Shifty Shafts: If you want to drop into Shifty right from the start, it will be very chaotic but you might be able to pick up a couple of kills. You can also land somewhere close and then go into Shifty and try to find people a little bit later in the game. The choice is up to you.

I hope you enjoyed this guide for this week’s challenges and stay tuned for more posts about Fortnite.

Fortnite Battle Royale Landing Spots Part 1: Some of the Original Spots

Fortnite Battle Royale Landing Spots

Welcome back to another post, today we are starting a new series about all of the Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots. For the first few posts in this series, there will be a theme to the spots in the post. Today’s theme is some of the original spots that were on the first map. The spots that were once on the map but were taken out of the game will not be in this series, but there may be a separate post with all of the removed locations. To stay updated on future posts, follow my Twitter here, like my Facebook page here, and join my Discord here.

Fortnite Battle Royale Landing Spots
Fortnite Landing Spots

Fatal Fields

Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots
Fatal Fields

Fatal Fields is located in the southern part of the Fortnite map. It is a farm with barns, a house, silos, and stables, Fatal is a medium sized location with a good amount of chest spawns and floor loot. The loot is spread out so you can have a bit of time to find some weapons before you have to start fighting people. There is a forest on the edge of Fatal and also a spot to farm brick. In my opinion, Fatal is a very good place to land because you can get good loot, lots of mats, and there aren’t a ton of people that you have to fight.

Flush Factory

Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots
Flush Factory

Flush Factory is in the south part of the Fortnite map. This landing spot has warehouses that make toilets. Flush isn’t great for farming materials because you don’t get a lot of metal from hitting walls. But there is a decent amount of loot. The two main issues with Flush are that it is kind of hard to loot and you almost never will get the circle, so you have to loot pretty efficiently.

If you want to go to a spot with little action where you will not have to worry about fighting and just loot up and get ready for endgame, Flush is a good spot for you. Also, heading northeast out of Flush will take you towards the unnamed factory. If you are ready to start fighting, people usually land here, and if they don’t you can get more loot. Also, there are lots of wood stacks in the unnamed factory, which is the best thing to farm. If you don’t have to run too far to the circle, I would suggest this route.

Greasy Grove

Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots
Greasy Grove

Greasy Grove is located in the southwest part of the map. It is a neighboorhood with a restaurant, store, and gas station. It has a lot of loot and the amount of action varies based on the bus’s path, but it usually will give you some action. Landing at a house with no one else at it will help you greatly because you will be able to loot your entire building. Then, I would suggest looking out at the streets for a little bit to scout out where the other enemies are. But don’t wait too long because you could miss out on getting more loot. If you are confident in your fighting ability but don’t want too much action, Greasy is a good spot for you.

Pleasant Park

Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots
Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is located towards the northwest corner of the map. It used to be one of the most visited places before some of the other huge places were added. It still has some people every game, but it is nowhere as busy as it used to be. Pleasant is a neighboorhood with houses and also a soccer field, gazebo, gas station, and a vending machine spawn. Pleasant is another place that will have good loot. It can be really good if you are confident to push people but don’t want a place that is too chaotic.

Wailing Woods

Fortnite Battle Royale landing spots
Greasy Grove

Wailing Woods is located in the northeast side of the map. It is a forest with lots of trees and bushes. It definitely doesn’t have great loot.  But it is easy to get to max wood here if building is the most crucial part of your game. There are also mushrooms to give you shield, and there are always enough to get you full shield. A good route to take out of here would be to go to the boxes/shipment containers area. Then continue through the mini forest to Retail Row.

I hope you enjoyed this first post in the series talking about different locations in Fortnite Battle Royale. If you did please share this post! Also, look forward to more posts in this series coming soon.

How Much XP do You Need to Unlock Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok Skins?

Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok skins

This post explains how to unlock the Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok skins, and the levels that unlock certain skins.  In Fortnite Battle Royale, if you have bought the season 5 battle pass, you get the Drift skin immediately and the Ragnorok skin once you get to tier 100. Both the Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok skins have different stages that you can unlock by earning XP. Today we are going to be digging into just how much XP will be needed for each stage. To stay updated on future posts, you can follow my Twitter here and like my Facebook page here. You can join my discord here.

Drift

The Drift skin is the skin you unlock as soon as you buy the Battle Pass. There are 5 stages that you can unlock for the Drift.  Here is what they look like.

Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok
Drift Skins

The first one will be unlocked once you earn 10k XP. You should be around level 13 or 14 when you have this amount of experience.

The next stage will be unlocked at 25k XP. You will be around a level 20-21.

The next stage of the  Drift will be unlocked at 50k XP or level 29-30.

The second to last stage will be unlocked at 100k XP or around levels 40-41.

Finally, the last stage of the Drift will be unlocked at 200k XP or levels 55-56. .

Personally, when I saw the Drift for the first time, I wasn’t a fan of it because it looks very generic from the beginning to the second stage. But once you see what it can become when maxed out, I thought that it was amazing because how colorful it gets and how there is something flowing around you.

Tips to Obtain XP in Fortnite

Before we get into the Ragnarok skin, I want to give you some tips on how to get XP in Fortnite. The first thing to do is just do your daily and weekly challenges because they give lots of XP. If you do 4 out of 7 of the challenges every week, you unlock the XP. From all 10 weeks of challenges, this XP will be 65k XP.

Also, the Birthday challenges run until August 8th, and playing just 14 matches will get you 5k XP.

Finally, playing with friends who also have the Battle Pass is good because you will give each other a friend XP boost, which means playing together you are automatically earning more XP than playing solo.

Ragnarok

Fortnite Drift and Ragarok skins
Ragnarok Skins

Now its time to look at the Ragnarok skin. You will have to get to tier 100 to unlock this skin, but the good news is because you will already be a high level when you get to tier 100, you will already have unlocked some of the stages for it.

Here is what all the different Ragnarok skin stages look like

Now, to unlock the different stages of the Ragnarok, you will need to get this much XP:

First unlock, 35k XP or levels 24-25. You will most likely have this much XP by the time you unlock the skin itself.

For the next stage, 75k XP, or level 35-36.

Third unlock, 125k XP, or level 44-45.

For the second to last stage, 250k XP, or level 60-61.

And for the final stage, 500k XP or level 78-79.

I like the Ragnarok skin a lot also but it is definitely going to be a grind to get it maxed out, but in the end, I think it will be worth it.

I hope you enjoyed this post about the Fortnite Drift and Ragnarok skins and I will look to make some more posts with more tips for Season 5 and information about new updates in the future.

Fortnite Update v5.1: Birthday Celebration and Playground Returns

Fortnite Update v5.1

Fortnite has announced that the v5.1 Fortnite update will release tomorrow and that there will be special challenges and rewards for a 1-year birthday celebration. Birthday Celebration

Because of Fortnite’s 1 year anniversary, they will be releasing challenges that you can do to earn rewards. The event runs until August 8th. If you play 14 matches, you will earn 5k XP. This is a fairly easy challenge to do and will be very helpful for doing the Drift and Ragnorak progressive outfits. Next, you will earn a #1 cupcake emoticon for dealing 1,000 damage to opponents with any weapon. Finally, if you dance at 10 different birthday cakes that will be added throughout the map, you will get a Happy Birthday spray. Completing all of these challenges will give you a Birthday Cake back bling.

Playground Returns

The following day, Playground mode will be returning to Fortnite Battle Royale. Epic Games has already said on social media that this version of Playground will have team select and lots more loot.
